We were able to go to the state fair with Jay and Brittany. We had a blast with them! I hadn't been to the fair for 3 years and I was determined not to miss it this year. My love for the state fair started back in junior high when our school choir would go and perform and then spend the rest of the day on the rides. Then, later on when I was in college, Scott and Jheri Glover used to take Tricia and I with them every year. I've been talking Richard's ear off about the fair for the last two months. Good man, he was smart enough to take me ;)

We all know those games are rigged. Yet we can't resist.... 
Mallory performed in Mesa High's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". She did such a good job, the whole cast was just incredible. I've never seen high schools kids exert so much energy and talent nonstop. They took state and now will be competing for nationals!
We've been working bit by bit on our house. Its so nice to finally have some wedding pictures up
And a little splash of color for the brown room :)
We bought this frame at IKEA, with the intentions of using it as a whiteboard. Richard worked on it for hours and while wiping off the glass it cracked in half. We should have known better, it was IKEA after all. So, until we get a new piece of glass cut, this is the final result. I love it!
Another great IKEA purchase. These shelves really add a lot and help free some of our cabinet space.
And we hit our 3 month anniversary on October 29th! Where does the time go???

I was so glad to see some new pictures in your new post. The new decor in your home looks really nice. You had your 3mo.wedding anniv. on the 29 of Oct. That day was Grandpa's and my 54th wedding anniversary. :o)
